Reduced Order Modeling of CFD Systems

ABSTRACT: A discussion of how proper orthogonal decomposition can be implemented as a means to model physical phenomena through reduced order models will be discussed. In particular, the discussion will center around the momentum equations of Navier-Stokes and their evaluation through POD pre-processing overlaid with a traditional Galerkin solution formulation.
