The Center for Simulation and Modeling at the University of Pittsburgh seeks an Executive Director to oversee a team of PhD level consultants associated with the Center, to provide the leadership to realize the long-term vision of the Center, to build collaborative partnerships with other areas of the University, and to assist in writing proposals in support of the Center. Qualified candidates should have a PhD in an area with a significant computational component and have at least 5-7 years experience in managing a Center or research group that required skills in management of finances and facilities, oversight of personnel and grant writing. The position will be at the Research Assistant or Research Associate Professor level which is outside the tenure stream.
