Professor Jordan and Team Awarded DOD’s PETT Contract for $147 Million Over Ten Years

Professor and SAM Co-Director Ken Jordan is part of a team that was awarded the U.S. Department of Defences’ PETT Contract, which is for $147 million over the next ten years. The contract has been awarded to High Performance Techonologies, Inc. (HPTi), a Reston-based technology services firm, and it involves 19 industrial and university partners. The project involves the development of software for high performance computing environments to tackle problems of interest to DOD’s computational scientists and engineers.
