SAM seeks to faciltiate learning the area of simulation and modeling through the methods listed below.  Opportunities presented here include both those provided by SAM as well as other departments and centers at Pitt.  Click on the title of interest below for more information.

Simulation and Modeling Courses

SAM consultants regularly offer classes in topics of interest to those using simulation and modeling in there research. Similar classes that might also be of interest to such students are listed here as well.

Seminar Series

SAM began an interdisciplinary Simulation and Modeling Seminar Series spring term 2009. Seminars are held on Fridays, 2:30-3:30 pm in 1175 Benedum Hall. The speakers present for about 40 minutes followed by 15 minutes of questions, answers and discussion.  Refreshments are provided.  All are welcome to attend.
