Intro to the Cluster Workshop via Zoom

CRC's semi-annual cluster training workshop. We will go over the new hardware and modules, and the queuing system in production. We will present useful concepts for computations using SLURM, including queuing strategies, using scratch space, and trapping exit codes for restarts. Presented by Pitt CRC consultant Shervin Sammak.

Basic R Workshop via Zoom

Intro to Python Workshop via Zoom

This is a practical introduction to Python programming, focusing on the use of Python scripts to automate simple tasks. We will also show how the object oriented programming capabilities of Python can be used to develop reusable and transferable code and how this can be adapted to a variety of situations.
