CADENS: Call for Participation supported by the National Science Foundation

Here is an exciting visualization opportunity to broaden the impact of your research!

The National Science Foundation is supporting a data visualization outreach project: the Centrality of Advanced Digitally ENabled Science (CADENS).

If your research generates, analyzes, and/or visualizes data and you would like to reach millions of people with your findings, please submit to the CADENS Call for Participation: http://www.ncsa.illinois.edu/enabling/vis/cadens/cfp.  Fill out a very brief  submission form that requires answers to only seven questions, before Dec 21, 2014.

All research disciplines (including but not limited to areas as diverse as social science, pandemic modeling, biophysics, water, and energy) will be considered for inclusion in both three large-scale, digital, full-dome museum shows that will travel globally, and nine television documentaries that will also be available online. The submissions will be reviewed by a distinguished international advisory committee and open to researchers at institutions around the world.

The FAQ’s answer important questions like “what’s in it for me” and “what’s the review process?”
